At least not like before

I just miss you as whole

I miss being around

Always wanting to talk to you

Knowing you’d listen as I sit just reminiscing

Wish we could be friends

That is all I really want in the end

But maybe sometimes,

Everything does have to go

And it may not be the best for one

But as long as you’re happy with someone,

It shouldn’t matter to anyone

This isn’t a love letter,

Nor a love poem

This is me letting you know,

I’m okay, I’m alright

We all have our own bad times

But hey let’s remember before all this,

There was those great nights

Wasn’t too many,

But enough to make my mind

I did want you as a friend,
